COVID-19 NOTICE
The unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic has forced changes to the Social Security Administration’s operations. The Social Security Administration is still processing Social Security Disability claims but will only offer online and phone services at this time.
SSA’s Office of Hearings Operations will continue to conduct critical functions including scheduling and conducting telephone hearings, writing and issuing decisions, sending notices, and record development.
Our legal team is already conducting all business virtually through phone, fax, mail, and email. We remain fully operational and ready to support you throughout your disability claims process during the COVID-19 crisis. All through telework, we can assist you in filing your application for disability benefits online, appeal your case, request and receive evidence from your medical doctors, and conduct telephone hearings.
This means that if you are disabled you do not need to wait to file your application for Social Security disability benefits. With the shift to virtual work due to the pandemic, this means you need a legal team that is equipped to handle your case online.
Although we are conducting our business virtually, our clients remain our top priority. At American Disability Advocates every client receives individualized attention and every client is guaranteed that an attorney will represent them.
